Cheap but pretty grim.

I booked this hotel for the sake of a cheap place near Paddington to get a few hours sleep after a night out. For that purpose it was OK, but had I been there for a longer stay or proper holiday it would have been unacceptable. Single room in basement had mould on walls, electric socket hanging out of wall, huge dip in bathroom floor where it had either rotted or broken under the lino, stains on the underside of the bed runner and carpet worn through to the floor in places. The bed had an old mattress with springs digging in, made sleepable in only by the several pints of beer and late hour. Breakfast was OK but small and basic. Staff had trouble understanding English so even a simple request like 'decaf coffee' resulted in pots of caffeinated 'tea and coffee', whilst the blank look that greeted my brother's request for a vegetarian breakfast was priceless. All in all if you're not too fussed with quality and want somewhere to get your head down close to the station, with wifi and breakfast thrown in, then you can probably do worse. If you've got higher standards and/or plan to spend any real time in your hotel, you might want to look elsewhere.

Das Hotelzimmer Zimmer entsprach dem was versprochen wurde, das dritte Bett sollte ausgetauscht werden!! Das Personal war freundlich.

Die Unterkunft hat eine super Lage und ist von der Underground Station und dem Bahnhof Paddington sehr leicht zufuß erreichbar. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer machte einen sauberen aber abgewohnten Eindruck. Das Bett hat funktioniert, eine neue Matratze wäre aber echt super. Zudem sind die Zimmer winzig, recht hellhörig und im schlimmsten (meinem) Fall im vierten Stockwerk mit öhm viktorianischen? Treppen. Für Londoner Verhältnisse ist das Zimmer trotzdem gut. Hotelli on nuhjuinen ja kulunut. WC-tiloissa voimakas viemärin haju. Englantilainen aamupala oli yksinkertainen, mutta maukas ja täyttävä. Sijainti on erinomainen, ja jos käyttää hotellia vain nukkumiseen ja tavaroiden säilyttämiseen, on tämä erinomainen hotelli!

Cons: Zimmerausstattung veraltet
An der Lage des Hotels, dem Team und dem Frühstück gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist durchaus in die Jahre gekommen. Jedoch hat alles funktioniert und angesichts des Preises ist das Hotel für einen kurzen Städtetrip durchaus zu empfehlen. Super WLAN-Empfang.
