Don't be fooled

I booked this hotel as we wanted to be in Camden town. The description clearly states it's all about the location with this apartment. It raves about Camden and the location and all it has to offer. We were majorly disappointed to then find out that the above address is just a booking office and the apartments are scattered at different locations around London. We were not offered a more central apartment nor were our concerns addressed by the staff in the booking office when I presented my booking confirmation with tulip apartments clearly listed as the hotel. We then had to drag 4 cases a10minute walk to an overground station get on train then walk again to find our apartment located on Caledonia road on the outskirts of islington. We were told 2 doubled beds in the description but only one and a sofa bed. Overall the apartment was clean, amenities good but it was over heated. The only source off fresh air came from a window in the lounge and we had to request a key for a door in the bedroom which didn't open. Great place to stay if you don't want to be in Camden. I will be following this up with a formal complaint directly to the company.

Originelle Unterkunft in Trend-Quartier

Es ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, dass die Wohnung erst in London zugeteilt wird und die entsprechende Ausstattung/Lage/Grösse unabhängig vom bezahlten Preis ist! Das ist in unserem Fall nicht ganz fair, denn die Wohnung war sehr klein und eng (aber originell und gut ausgestattet). Es ist irreführend, wenn auf der Website die grössten zur Verfügung stehenden Wohnungen abgebildet sind! Zudem sollte klar darauf hingewiesen werden, dass die Wohnungen z.T. rel. weit weg von der Reception gelegen sind und ein Standardpreis (unabhängig von der Grösse der Wohnung) bezahlt werden muss.
