Convenient hotel in Nottingham

We were disappointed with our stay at the Lace Market Hotel. If you enjoy your stay, you don't mind paying a reasonable price but it just wasn't worth the money. The breakfast was very mediocre and not what we were looking forward to. The room was nice and comfy and the toiletries were very good. It's a shame that other facilities were lacking.

Avoid room 32!!!

Nice hotel! I have stayed many times! On this stay, however, the room was like a furnace with no control and the shower didn’t work. My room was also right next to a clunky old lift which I could hear every time it moved! I was promised a call back by the manager which never came! So much for customer service! It’s the park plaza for me from here on in! Avoid

A bit run down and far too hot

Nice enough hotel, room was clean but a bit run down and the room temperature was far too hot. A colleague in a separate room also said the same over breakfast. I wouldn't choose to stay here again - not based on the heat factor but just because it wasn't that great and there is no hotel car park. I'd rather stay in the premier inn down the road next time which says it all really. The location was good for town centre access.

Nice hotel perfect for motorpoint arena

Hotel was nice overall, staff pleasant and room clean. The bed was very comfortable , room service prices were very reasonable (didn't order but viewed the menu). Few issues with the door opening due to it being a older building and subsidence, when I spoke to the staff they just said it was a recurring issue. The bathtub needed replacing as it was chipped at the bottom and a few other parts of doors were chipped. The television remote needed some new batteries but that is nitpicking the room was very nice. The breakfast was nice but not worth the £13.50 price tag if paying separately (it was part of the deal for us). I would stay here again but question the £130 price tag. We stayed Thursday 9th February.
