Reasonable price. Expensive food and drink. Good beds. Room cleaning not up to standard. Bathrooms terrible - need renovating.

Decent property with a good view if you're lucky enough to get a room at the front of the hotel. The room was also surprisingly large which was really nice. The shower seemed a little temperamental, but it was wet and warm, which is all you need for a crash pad. The kitchen is currently closed, but there are over-priced pizzas on offer in the bar (I didn't sample). The drinks are also quite expensive. There are plenty of better-priced alternatives just across the park opposite. The only downside of this hotel is the parking situation. There are no spaces to park onsite, although some inconsiderate guests had taken it upon themselves to dump their cars in the drop-off area. There are several (paid) public car parks within easy walking distance - just be warned that most are unavailable during Pride for some reason. Would I stay here again? Yes. Would I pay full tariff? No. Would I recommend? Yes - with the above caveats.

The staff wete most unhelpful and miserable. Room wasn't properly cleaned and not cleaned during the stay yet insufficient supplies of eg tea/coffee/milk etc provided for the duration of the stay. Buffet breakfast not provided ywt was covid friendly on a night time to eat over priced bar food.....

It is only through open and honest feedback that we can look at and improve the service and standards that we offer. Please accept my sincere apologies for the shortcomings in our service levels during your stay. I understand that we cannot change the experience that you have already had, but I really do hope we will get the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and improve on the impression that you have been left with. Regarding the room cleaning standards, I can assure you that these are not our usual standards of service and we do apologise for falling short on your expectations. I have shared your feedback with my housekeeping team and will definitely utilise your feedback to improve ourselves further. Regarding room cleaning frequency, like many other hotels we had to take measures to ensure our team and our guest safety is in forefront of our practices and hence we try and minimise the contact. However I am indeed surprised that the team was not able to assist when you requested and will surely discuss and address this matter myself.
