For the price it was good value for money. It was very basic and could do with updating décor, but for the price of the room including a good breakfast I cannot complain.

Pros: Breakfast and staff - both excellent.
Lovely staff, especially Megan who helped us, and the manager, and the breakfast staff who care a great deal about the breakfasts. Highly recommended for the staff and breakfast.

This is a very standard hotel - only book if you just want a place to stay. Facilities are not visually appealing.

Nice breakfast

Its not value for money but there seems to be an agreed minimum rate for the hotels in the area. Location was brilliant. The bathrooms and carpet could be better. I liked the breakfast. I don't eat pork and usually have problems of choice but they did very well.

Dont go there

This is the worst place i have ever stayed in, rooms numbers are on the doors in laminated paper,rooms are small and falling apart(curtains just hanging on,beds rock hard,furniture torn) for our room we had to go out of hotel and across the road to another building. Breakfast is only served until 8.30am and there is no other food and bar facilities in the so called hotel. The area is not very nice itself and its far away from central London, there's nothing to see in the town so i wouldn't recommend going there. I would NEVER return to this "hotel" again and dont suggest anyone does,it comes up cheap because that is exactly what it is!!

Die Unterkunft ist einfach schrecklich. Unser Zimmer, vor allem das Badezimmer war in einem schlimmen Zustand. Am ersten Abend ist ein Teil von der Decke runtergekommen, in der Nacht noch ein weiter Teil. Vom Personal kam keine Entschuldigung für diesen Vorfall... Provisorisch repariert wurde erst nach zwei Tagen... es kam kein Kommentar oder eine Entschuldigung vom Personal. Ilford ist für uns absolut kein Touristenviertel, sehr heruntergekommen und schmuddelig! Man fühlt sich als Europäer als richtigen Aussenseiter!
